Arrest warrants have been issued in the United States against Indian billionaire Gautam Adani and his nephew Sagar Adani, following an indictment by a New York grand jury. The case revolves around allegations of bribery amounting to $265 million (approximately Rs 2,029 crore), reportedly paid to Indian government officials to secure lucrative solar energy contracts. Should they plead not guilty, the matter will proceed to a full trial where evidence will be examined, and a verdict will be reached by a trial jury.
