Maye Musk Silences Romance Rumors About Elon Musk and Giorgia Meloni with a Playful Response

Maye Musk, the mother of tech billionaire Elon Musk, addressed swirling rumors of a romantic connection between her son and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The speculation began after a viral photo captured the two deep in conversation at an awards event, prompting online chatter. In response, Maye Musk humorously dispelled the gossip by reposting the image with a cheeky caption: “I went back to the hotel with Elon,” accompanied by a monocle emoji. The original post had suggested something more, stating, “We all know what happened next.” Elon Musk playfully confirmed his mother’s comment, replying, “True.”

The image, which originated from science journalist Dr. Simon Goddek’s post, quickly went viral and led to lighthearted speculation about a possible romance between Musk and Meloni. Elon Musk took to social media platform X to set the record straight, stating succinctly, “We are not dating.” He further clarified in a separate post, saying, “I was there with my Mom. There is no romantic relationship whatsoever with PM Meloni.”

Musk had met Meloni at the New York awards ceremony, where he presented her with the Atlantic Council Global Citizen Award. In his speech, Musk praised the Italian leader, calling her “beautiful inside and out” and commending her work as Prime Minister. This isn’t the first time the two have crossed paths. Musk had spoken at an event for Meloni’s party in December, where he urged Italians to focus on family growth and highlighted concerns about unchecked migration.

Despite the buzz, both Musk and his mother have humorously and firmly shut down any romantic rumors, focusing on their admiration for Meloni’s leadership.
