U.S.- China chip war –  U.S. lawmakers called for revenge against the Chinese country after the micron ban.

The US lawmakers to exasperate the current relationship between the two countries called for a revenge against the Chinese country for restraining the Micron Technology chipmaker.

The Congressional committee’s US representative Mike Gallagher who focuses on China, made a proposal on adding the Changxin technology of Memory to ‘blacklist’ to avoid the companies that are doing their business with the American Company.

Mike Gallagher’s colleague  Mr.Michael McCaul, the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, criticized Beijing and asked for a response. He said that, “The CCP is accountable to all the Congress authorities of the administration”.

A chip that is made from the most powerful technologies that were produced by the Changxin Memory where the Artificial Intelligence is converted to self driving vehicles and this is termed to be one of the significant technologies that reflects the ambitions of Beijing to produce chips that are equal in terms of the US technology.

The chipmaker of China wants to launch an IPO with a value not less than 14.5 billion dollars.

The lawmakers in the US sent a response to Beijing’s decision to avoid the supply of Microns due to the security reasons in the country.

The technical sector faced a huge unpredictable challenge during the Covid-19 pandemic in December 2021, there was a severe shortage of semiconductor chips during that period. The largest manufacturer of semiconductor chips is Taiwan and the lockdowns which were triggered by the pandemic increased the delivery times of the semiconductor chips. This hit the production activities in the whole world from the manufacturing of tiny parts of mobile phones to the cars.

A huge initiative was taken by India to position their productions as a substitute to China by announcing 10 billion dollars as incentive to boost the manufacturing of semiconductors in the country. The aim of PM Narendra Modi is to establish a semiconductor manufacturing hub which is still in WIP.

The stress relating to the technology kept rising due to the ‘coercion of economy’ which was caused because of the restrictions imposed by the US board regarding the export of the semiconductor instruments to China. There was an extraordinary move by the Chinese country that overreached the spark of the United States.

The spokesperson from the Foreign Ministry of China, Mr.Mao Ning defended the decision regarding the withdrawal of Micron by the government.

“All the Microns that are produced by China were reviewed by the cybersecurity company according to the Chinese laws and all the decisions related to the microns are taken only on the basis of the real data”. Bloomberg said.

In addition to this, Ning said that the United States had imposed all kinds of restrictions on dozens of individuals and businesses in China without even providing any type of evidence supporting it.
