Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has approached the Supreme Court to challenge a Delhi High Court order regarding the CBI’s probe into the Delhi liquor policy case.

NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has petitioned the Supreme Court to challenge a Delhi High Court decision that dismissed his plea against arrest by the CBI.

Alongside contesting the arrest, Kejriwal has also submitted a regular bail application in the case, according to ANI citing AAP’s legal team.

The High Court had previously denied Kejriwal relief in the CBI’s investigation into the alleged liquor scam.

While the Supreme Court had earlier granted him bail in a separate case filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the High Court’s recent ruling leaves Kejriwal still in jail.
