Updates on NEET UG 2021 exam date.

Recently, the National Test Agency (NTA) announced new dates for the JEE Main exam (the undergraduate engineering education test). While the NEET aspirants are keenly looking for the National Eligibility cum  Entrance Test (NEET UG 2021) date. The candidates appearing for NEET UG 2021 are waiting for the online application form to be released. Earlier, students had requested to postpone the examination to October 2021 due the spread of Corona Virus. But after the release of new dates for JEE Mains the NEET exam was expected to be held on August 1st

A fake news was also circulated through different means stating that the exam would be on September 5th. Later the NTA looked into the unauthorized public notice which misguided the crowd. The testing body then clarified that they have not issued any such notice declaring the medical exam date. So as of now the NEET UG 2021 is postponed till further notice.

Considering the ongoing pandemic the test agency has to make an appropriate decision. Currently NTA is in consultation with the concerned stakeholders to finalize a favorable date for conducting NEET UG 2021 without any interruption. Very soon the NTA will make an announcement about release date of the online application form along with the medical exam date. The students will be provided with enough time to fill the application form and then based on the number of applications admit card & exam center will be finalized.

The number of exam centers for JEE Main has been increased, so there might be an increase in exam centers for NEET as well. However the NTA will have to follow strict safety measures before conducting the examination. The students are advised to rely only on the information given by NTA through their official websites (http://nta.ac.in or ntaneet.nic.in) .
