The Indian Olympic Association is making an effort to conduct fair and free elections of the Wrestling Federation of India.

Large number of people from neighboring states of Delhi and Students of Delhi University assembled at Jantar Mantar on Thursday and expressed their harmony to the protestors who were demanding to arrest Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Many of the supporters raised slogans like ‘jai kisan jai jawan’, ‘Nari shakti zindabad’, ‘phalwan ekta zindabad’ and so on in support of the Indian wrestlers. A ruckus arose between the protestors and the Delhi Police after a day. During this strife a couple of wrestlers were injured and they accused the police officers for manhandling the wrestlers in a drunken state.
