Announcement of new dates for JEE Mains 2021 and updates about NEET UG 2021.

Announcement of new dates for JEE Mains 2021 and updates about NEET UG 2021.

The National Test Agency (NTA) had decided to conduct JEE Mains, the undergraduate engineering admission test in four sessions. The February to March session went on well without any trouble but  the April to May session remained pending due the second wave of coronavirus. A pile of questions from the students and parents regarding the final call on JEE Mains was seen on social media platforms.

According to the reports, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal made an announcement about the third and fourth stage examination of JEE Main on July 6, 2021. The pending sessions of JEE Main will be held this month (July) and the in following month (August). The third session which was to happen in the month of April will now begin from 20th July to 25th July and the fourth session will be held between 27th July and 2nd August.

Along with the announcement of JEE Mains exams, the Education Minister had mentioned about the application process. Students who couldn’t register earlier can apply now as the registrations for the third session is open till July 8, 2021 while the application window for the fourth session will be open from July 9, 2021 to July 12, 2021.  Due to the time constraint, correction window will not be available after the closure of application on July 8 and July 12.

Arrangements are made to safeguard the students from COVID including the increase in JEE Main 2021 exam centers and assurance of safe environment for tests, the NTA added. To ensure the safety of the students, NTA has increased the number of JEE Main exam cities from 232 to 334 and the exam centers has been increased from 660 to 828  so the students can get their choice of center cities in JEE Main 2021 and abide to maintain social distancing norms.  Students can modify exam cities through the application window.

Soon after the announcement of new dates for JEE Main 2021 dates for the National Eligibility cum  Entrance Test (NEET UG 2021) was also expected to be revealed  but unfortunately it did not happen as Mr. Pokhriyal resigned from his post the very next day of revealing fresh dates for JEE Main. So as of now, NEET 2021 is scheduled from August 1 but the NTA has not yet given any confirmation about the application forms.

The candidates appearing for NEET UG 2021 exam are anxiously waiting for the release of application form. Hope very soon the NEET aspirants will get a clarity about the exam dates and application forms.
