Prashant Kishor Makes Bold Forecast: Nitish Kumar Won’t Secure More Than 20 Seats in 2025 Bihar Elections

In a dramatic twist of political events in Bihar, renowned political strategist Prashant Kishor has made bold and sweeping predictions about the future of Nitish Kumar’s alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Kishor, who was once a political mentor to Kumar but has now become a vocal critic, asserts that the tie-up between Nitish Kumar and the BJP is destined to be short-lived and won’t extend beyond the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

As Bihar prepares for a new government with Nitish Kumar reclaiming the Chief Minister’s role, this time with BJP’s support, Prashant Kishor did not mince words. Describing Nitish Kumar as a cunning individual who has deceived the people of Bihar, Kishor boldly proclaimed that the alliance will crumble before the 2025 Bihar assembly elections. He expressed skepticism about the longevity of the alliance, irrespective of whether Nitish Kumar aligns with the BJP or switches back to the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) after the Lok Sabha elections.

Kishor went a step further, challenging the electoral strength of Nitish Kumar’s party. “If Nitish Kumar wins more than 20 seats in the next Assembly election, I will take retirement from my work. Please write it down,” Kishor declared, emphasizing his confidence in the prediction. He added, “People of Bihar will pay Nitish Kumar back with interest,” indicating a significant political shift in the state.

The current political landscape in Bihar features Nitish Kumar as the prominent face, backed by the BJP, while the opposing side comprises the RJD and other parties. However, Prashant Kishor foresees major disruptions before the next Bihar assembly election. “Within six months after the Lok Sabha election, you will see those developments,” he predicted, suggesting that the BJP-Nitish Kumar alliance has a limited lifespan.

Highlighting the unpredictability of Nitish Kumar’s political affiliations, Kishor recalled his earlier forecast that Kumar would not continue with the Mahagathbandhan, a prediction that materialized. He now asserts that Nitish Kumar’s party will not secure more than 20 seats in the upcoming state election, hinting at a potential majority for the RJD in the 2025 Bihar election.

Prashant Kishor’s statements have stirred anticipation and curiosity in Bihar’s political circles, setting the stage for a dynamic and unpredictable series of developments in the coming months. Whether Kishor’s predictions will hold true remains to be seen, but they undoubtedly add an intriguing layer to the unfolding political narrative in the state.
